A meeting focusing on Organizing Public Safety will be Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. at the East Chattanooga Youth and Family Development Center.
 
City Councilwoman Demetrus Coonrod said, "Every block is an important part of the fabric of our city- the people, the parks, the housing, the schools and the businesses.

"What happens on a block affects the quality of life of the neighborhood, which in turn affects the city as a whole.

5th Annual Drives For Lives Golf Tournament To Be Held July 17

The Humane Educational Society will host the fifth annual Drives for Lives Golf Tournament at the Lookout Mountain Club on Tuesday, July 17, to raise money for general operations and the Special Needs Fund.
